REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) is EU regulation EC 1907/2006 that governs chemical substances sold in the European Union, including Germany. Indian exporters of chemicals, dyes, pigments, and processed materials must ensure their products comply with REACH substance restrictions and that EU importers have fulfilled their REACH obligations. IndianXporter provides full Safety Data Sheets (SDS), substance declaration lists, and works with EU-based Only Representatives (ORs) to handle REACH registration on behalf of buyers where required.

CE marking indicates that a product conforms with EU health, safety, and environmental protection standards. For electrical components, machinery, and medical devices from India, CE certification is mandatory before products can be placed on the German market. A EUR.1 Movement Certificate (Form EUR.1) is a proof-of-origin document that allows goods to benefit from preferential tariff rates under EU trade agreements. While India and the EU are currently negotiating a Free Trade Agreement (EU-India FTA), for some product categories preferential rates may apply under GSP (Generalised System of Preferences). The EU sets strict Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) for pesticide residues on food products under Regulation EC 396/2005. Indian spices must meet these limits to avoid rejection at German ports of entry. IndianXporter conducts multi-residue pesticide testing at NABL-accredited laboratories before shipment and provides test reports for every consignment.
